The contact via WhatsApp from Sophie was brilliant. She took a genuine interest in the problems I have had with the car under warranty. It was disappointing the the car was returned with a drained battery and dirty, which is not my usual experience.

Washed the car despite telling them not to on both online and in showroom. It's like they have people who can't read. No wash means no wash. Scratched my paint in the process. I would have let it go but it's the second time they washed it without ask

Well the possibility of spending close to £4000 was quite worrying but I needed my car fixed,and for less than £200 I got my car back and as a bonus it had been cleaned too. Excellent customer service from my first call to collecting my car.

Not willing to help, totally unacceptable prices, with the only aim to leave my car out of the road. I had it fixed for £300 you were trying to charge £2000 perhaps you should reconsider your prices or overheads.or your margins..??

Customer service department were excellent, however they need some technical training to be able to communicate technician's comments effectively. I also didn't like being recommended an oil change for £300 for a gearbox that was beyond repair

The lady who checked us in gave us bad information about it being normal to need to replace brake pads within less than year of having a brand new car. Later we found out our pads were cut by a rat and the pads would last many more years as expected

Video of vehicle was extremely rushed compared to previous visit. Previously I was shown all components of suspension, tyres etc. this video just showed the front and back of the car. Small dirt/grease mark on steering wheel on collection also.

The car, in particular the wheels, were returned filthy . I had work done on the alloys on Thursday and the tyres returned covered in white residue. The key battery was discharged - I had to return to the service centre to buy a new one.

There was a bit of misunderstanding as no one from the centre told me of the time I need to bring vehicle. This became a very uncomfortable argument which I really didn't appreciate as I have driven 3hrs to get there.

I have been coming to Steven James for over 25 years and the last visit was a little disappointing. It seemed they were rushing, the mechanics were not happy seems to many cars booked in. The promised car wash never happened.

Always room for improvement, but staff and drop off and collection was satisfactory. Also, when I collected the car I would expect it to have the same controls / functions on in cockpit. Dirty footmarks left in driver footwell.

Very satisfied. The only thing that could have been improved on was that my dash cam was unplugged by the person completing my service, but it was not plugged back in, which if I hadn't noticed could have been a problem had anything happened.

Brought my vehicle in for a recall with a months notice, and yet the garage didn't have the correct parts to repair it meaning that I was without my car for 2 days. And, when my car was ready, I wasn't called by the garage for collection

Airbag recall work was carried out quickly and some maintenance issues we identified were resolved smoothly, however the trim on the passenger side was not refitted correctly and came loose soon after. Easy to resolve but a point deducted for that.
